My first miniatures from the Raging Heroes Kickstarter arrived recently so I whipped up a quick and simple paint scheme for The Daughters of the Crucible. These are my first miniatures from Raging Heroes and I’m very impressed with the sculpts.

Because these models are from the Kickstarter they are not currently available in store.

My gaming club is starting its Journeyman League in another month and I’ve decided to go with the Retribution of Scyrah this time. I started Ret in another Journeyman League back in mk2, but ended up burning out after 2 sessions. This time I’d like to get more use out of the angry elves.

This version of Elara is from the Tactics kickstarter. I decided to take a group shot of my Retribution because a lot of the old photos were taken with my smart phone, and even my new camera is having trouble with the black armour and white bases. I also added a little blood to make the colour scheme pop a bit more.

I slightly converted Princess Malya because I didn’t like the fact that she has two sets of ears (although I get that it’s an homage to her Relic Knights incarnation…).

Now it looks like her rabbit ears are attached to her new headband.

I’ve just finished painting Legion’s newest battlebox caster: Kryssa, Conviction of Everblight.

She had some fiddly mould lines and I filled in the back of the cloak with putty because I didn’t like the gap.

In my latest video I show you how I paint one of the trickiest parts of the model: the eyes.

I’m unhappy with my camera work on this one… I think I need a new lens to get a better zoom.

Lunah is my first pin-up model from Kabuki Models. I used her as an opportunity to experiment with purples.

The base was inspired by Jamie/Arithon but I can’t get my camera to pick up the colours correctly. She looks better in my upcoming How to Paint Miniatures – Eyes video.
