I had painted a slightly different spot colour on each of my warlocks so far, but I decided to colour Rhyas and Saeryn the same to reinforce the bond between them. Also I thought it would be funny to paint the ninjas the brightest yellow I have.
I am very happy with how Saeryn’s face turned out.

When I first read about Spell Martyrs, I imagined them busting ribs Alien-style just as they are consumed by their Warlock’s magic. So I wanted my Martyrs to be mostly intact, pre-rib-burst. My third Martyr will eventually be the original sculpt.
The female is based on Cylena Raefyll’s torso with the original Martyr legs and arms. The male is the original with a resculpted chest.

I love to use the Angelius in games, even if he is a little top heavy.
In order to convert my second Angelius, I chopped the middle part of the tail off and then sculpted a new one wrapping around a (bark chip) rock. The core of the tail was made of aluminium foil to save on weight, putty and to act as a frame so that I could get the positioning right.
I cut away the wing webbing close to his body and repositioned this wings curled around closer, like a perched gargoyle.
I might even prefer him to the original, he certainly topples over less often!

I wanted at least two Forsaken for my Abby list but I don’t like to have identical models, so I had a go at modifying the second one.
At this point I was still very new to sculpting so I needed a reference to compare size and shapes. I based the new head off Vayl1 and the new arm off Annyssa Ryvaal’s.

I painted my first Shepherd to have a bright red cape lining.
I came to greatly value the Shepherd’s presence on the battlefield, both in healing a much needed beast and managing fury. I don’t think there’s a better one-point option for Legion. I wanted another, so two years later I converted a second Shepherd.
To distinguish her from the original sculpt I wanted to remove her hood and make her hold the weapon in both hands. I gave her Saeryn’s head and Cylena Raefyll’s arms which I modified to hold the scythe instead of her sword.
This conversion looks simple but was actually surprisingly fiddly. First I had to remove the head, arms and a substantial part of the cloak to go with them. Cylena’s arms end halfway up the bicep so I pinned them into position and sculpted back in the rest. Getting them into the correct position was very tricky because I had to gauge the correct arm length and ensure that the angles matched up so that the haft would sit correctly in both hands. I resculpted the top part of the cloak and added a hood from Eiryss3.

I rarely include the Stingers when writing my lists, but I love generating them out of the Spawning Vessel to launch at my unsuspecting opponents.

I magnetised my multipart heavy beast kit so unfortunately my Scythean has not seen much table time. I prefer the Ravagore’s awesome range abilities in most lists and the Angelius fills the Scythean’s niche much of the time.
